How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Elegance combined with an emphasis on a healthy step
One of the summer novelties from the Slovak shoe manufacturer Protetika is this elegant women's model from the Corkstyle orthopedic-rehabilitation sandals collection. The upper of the shoe is eye-catching with its delicate pearl champagne shade, which looks gentle and stylish at the same time.
Two adjustable straps with gold-coloured metal buckles allow individual adjustment to the width of the foot. The anatomically shaped leather insole is a key element of this footwear - it copies the natural shape of the foot and provides optimum support during wear. It is soft to the touch and at the same time sufficiently supportive in the arch area. The insole is complemented by a heel cup section that stabilises the heel, and slightly raised beds in the toe and arch area that facilitate even weight distribution and reduce pressure when walking.
Between the insole and the outsole there is another typical element - the cork midsole, which ensures excellent shock absorption and lightness of the shoe. The darker lower part of the sole with more pronounced grooves is made of high-quality non-slip grooved rubber, which is resistant to wear and gives the shoe an overall modern look.
