How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Boys shoes that come from the production of the company D.D.Step. They are designed for bigger boys. The sole is soft, raised up to the cleat in the front. The heel area is also slightly raised. It is brown in colour, with light beige fibres embedded in the rubber. An interesting feature of these shoes is that the upper is not glued to the sole, but sewn. The stitching is in dark blue thread. This makes the shoes more durable and contains less chemicals. The upper is made of leather. The leather is smooth and sanded and has a dark blue colour. An interesting detail of these shoes is the smooth green leather, which is located at the end of the buckles and in the back in the form of a putka. There is also green thread stitching and D.D.Step lettering on the back of the shoes. The inside is leather. The insole is removable and flat. Fastening is with two Velcro fasteners.
