How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Lightweight barefoot shoes from the Slovak manufacturer Protetika, which, thanks to their simple design, will complement any outfit of young ladies. The sole is beige in color. It is flexible and soft. The toe area is gently widened, so the shoes are also suitable for babies with a dominant toe. At the same time, it is slightly raised at the front and back and thus protects the upper of the shoes from early destruction. The shoes are made of smooth, flesh-coloured leather, which has a subtle sheen that adds a touch of glamour to the shoes. The stitching is in beige thread. The shoes are narrower in the ankle area, so they fit even children with narrower ankles. The inside is full leather. The skin has a natural colour. The insole is removable and flat. Fastening is with two Velcro fasteners. Thanks to them, the shoes adapt to both higher and lower forefoot.
