How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Blue-white boys boots from the Slovak manufacturer, Protetika. Their design consists of blue leather of two types - leather and nubuck. The sole is thicker and stronger. Its blue part is raised in the front, the white part in the back. In the front part it goes into leather. In the back, it's a nubuck leather. Above it is embedded a hem of leather and again nubuck leather. There is nubuck leather on the vamp, which is also on the tongue. There is a white border around the tongue. On the sides of the shoes is sewn leather. The stitching is in blue thread. White thicker thread, forms three stripes on one side of the shoes. The inside is made of mesh as otherwise blue in colour. The insole is leather, removable and has an element to support the natural arch. Fastening is with two Velcro fasteners.
