How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

These all-season shoes from the Slovak manufacturer Protetika impress with their all-black design. The shoes have a slightly higher cut and the sole is raised in the front and back. The upper is made of black leather, the stitching is black thread. The copper elements ensure that the shoes are not drab. Glossy leather is on the sides of the shoes, stitching with brown thicker thread is on one side of the shoes. The perforation in the area around the ankle is by design only. The inside of the shoes is lined with soft mesh in black, which provides high comfort when wearing. The leather insole is removable and features arch support for better foot ergonomics. Two Velcro fasteners allow the shoes to be easily adjusted to different heights of the shin, thus ensuring optimum comfort and stability.
