How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Lightweight yet high-top shoes from Slovakian manufacturer Protetika are the ideal model, perfect for changeable autumn weather, but thanks to their structure, higher cut, PRO-TEX membrane and fleece lining, they are also a suitable choice for less cold winters.
Upper that withstands the rigours of the weather
The upper of the shoes is made from a combination of several highly durable materials. It consists of pink coarsely woven fabric, overlaid with black nubuck leather, which is covered with dark grey leather in critical areas. Stitching is with black thread. A very important part is the PRO-TEX membrane, which prevents water from penetrating inside the shoes while maintaining the breathability of the footwear.
Soft interior for comfort and warmth
Inside, the shoes are lined with soft black fleece, which provides insulation. Around the ankle, exposed black mesh creates a comfortable feel. The heel is gently reinforced, increasing the stability of the feet.
Healthy foot development
The fact that the shoes have a removable leather insole that is flat is also appreciated. The sole is thick, flexible in the direction of walking and in a practical light grey colour for maintenance. It is also significantly raised at the front on the toe cap, protecting the shoes from premature damage.
