How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

These boys' sandals from Protetika are an ideal choice for boys who need comfortable and durable footwear for summer adventures.
Upper consists of several types of leather in various colours. The dominant part is brown nubuck leather. It is complemented by white grain leather and blue brushed leather, both present in the ankle area. On the sides of the shoes and also at the ankle there is dark brown leather with dashed grooves. The stitching is also twofold - with a thinner brown thread and a thicker blue thread. Open cut in the front leaves the toes free and together with the side cutouts ensures excellent breathability even on the hottest days.
The sandals have practical two-Velcro fastening - one in the instep area and the other at the ankle. This allows for quick putting on and precise adjustment to different types of feet. The soft collar in the heel area increases comfort and prevents chafing of sensitive children's skin.
The interior is all leather, equipped with a leather, anatomically shaped insole with arch support, which ensures comfort with every step. A key feature is the reinforced heel, which contributes to the healthy development of the foot and ensures proper ankle support. Flexible and non-slip sole absorbs shock and protects the foot when walking and playing on various surfaces.
