How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

These beautiful, lightweight, elegant black plimsolls from the Slovak manufacturer RAK are an ideal choice for warmer spring and summer days. They have a flexible and resilient rubber sole, which is significantly raised in the front (toe cap), effectively protecting the shoes from premature damage. The upper is made of black, coarsely woven fabric, which is additionally stitched with black brushed leather at the toes. The edging and stitching are also black.
The inside of the shoe consists of a thin textile lining of 100% cotton, making the plimsolls suitable even for warm weather. The heel is not doubled, as is usual with other RAK brand models, but there is a soft reinforcement between the outer and inner parts for additional comfort and stability.
The insole is leather, removable and anatomically shaped, with an element to support the natural development of the arch. The manufacturer used water-soluble glue in its production, which is gentler on health and the environment.Fastening is practical, quick and easy, secured with two buckles with Velcro straps. The footwear is made of high-quality materials – the upper is made of natural leather and textile, the lining is made of cotton, the insole is made of leather and the sole is made of rubber.
