How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

The most iconic orthopaedic sandals from Protetika have been given a new look while retaining all the functional elements. The sole, which is firm and has little flex, also serves to prevent toe-curling in children. In the centre of the base is a moulding, which consists of cork and latex. And on top of it, there is an anatomically shaped insole that is made of natural leather. The insole includes a transverse and longitudinal gusset as well as a toe and heel bed. The heel is all solid. The upper is made of brushed leather in a soft pink colour. Around the ankle there is a strip of leather in beige. It is the leather that extends from the lining. There are two buckles. One wider one is located in the region of the forehead. Thanks to the Velcro fastener, it adapts perfectly to the width of the shin. There is also a flower made of the same leather on this sling. The second buckle serves for fixing the leg in the ankle area. It also fastens with Velcro.
