How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Ultra-lightweight children's plimsolls D.D.Step
Children's plimsolls from the Hungarian manufacturer D.D.Step. Their design is eye-catching at first glance, as it is dominated by bold inscriptions of various colours. Their amazing advantage is the water-repellent coating on the fabric, which gently repels water and dirt.
The sole is white and, although not usual for non-barefoot shoes, it is completely flexible and soft. The raised front rand protects not only the toes but also the shoe itself. The sole pattern is richly decorated with prominent features of quality and foot support.
The upper is made of light blue textile with darker blue spots. The fabric is richly covered with inscriptions of various sizes and colours. The colours are yellow, blue, orange, white and black. The edging and stitching are blue and complement the overall design well.
The inside is lined with light blue fabric, which is doubled in the heel area. It gently strengthens the heel and protects the shoe at the same time, as it is one of the parts of the shoe that takes the most abuse. The insole is made of a combination of thin foam and fabric that absorbs sweat well. The insole is removable and includes a heel bed.
The fastening is very practical and simple with one wider buckle, which goes around the ankle and holds the shoe well on the foot. The silver manufacturer's logo is also embossed on the buckle. These shoes will serve your children well during three seasons of the year - spring, summer and winter.
