How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

The combination of high-quality materials, PRO-TEX membrane and well-thought-out details guarantees comfort and functionality.
Healthy comfort for children's feet
These are equipped with warm, shaggy grey fur, which is present not only as an inner lining, but also on the insole.The insole is removable and has an element to support the natural development of the anatomical arch. In a very critical situation, you can remove the insole and increase the internal space of the shoes.
Functional upper and easy fastening
The upper is made of high-quality leather in brushed, smooth and rubberised finishes. The rubberised leather is located just above the sole in the most stressed areas of the shoe - at the ankle and toes. Fabric is also present. Nevertheless, there is no need to fear water or moisture leaking into the inside of the shoes, as the shoes are equipped with a PRO-TEX membrane, which provides a protective barrier against moisture and at the same time breathability. A pleasant bonus is the tongue sewn to the side of the shoes. The two Velcro fastenings allow for quick putting on and good adjustment of the shoe to the foot, as well as a firm tightening.
Solid sole ready for winter challenges
The solid rubber sole with a non-slip tread provides a secure step even on slippery or snowy surfaces. It is gently raised on the eye. It has a very practical grey-black colour for maintenance. The Valdo model from Protetika can be used for all winter activities, without parents being stressed that their child's feet are not in absolute dryness and warmth.
