This medicine can be taken without consulting a doctor for a maximum of 3 days in children, and for a maximum of 7 days in adults.
Patients with renal impairment:
It is recommended to prolong the dosing interval: for a glomerular filtration rate of 50-10 ml/min a 6-hour interval between doses should be observed, for a value below 10 ml/min an 8-hour interval should be observed.
Patients with impaired liver function:
Do not administer maximum doses in these patients, following the physician's advice, and observe an interval of at least 6 hours between doses.
Method of use
The tablets, which can be divided, are taken during or just before a meal, washed down with plenty of liquid. It is necessary to observe the intervals between doses indicated in the dosage.
Notice
The drug is intended for administration to children.
If clinically necessary, paracetamol may be given during pregnancy, but the minimum effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration and with the lowest possible frequency.
It is not necessary to discontinue breastfeeding during short-term treatment, provided that the infant is carefully monitored. No adverse effects were observed in infants during long-term treatment with paracetamol either.
Due to the dosage form, the drug is suitable for children from 3 years of age.
