Paracetamol, a drug contained in the medicine, counteracts pain and reduces increased body temperature.
The drug does not aggravate stomach upset and does not provoke bleeding, it can also be taken by patients with stomach and duodenal ulcers and patients who do not tolerate acetylsalicylic acid.
The drug is intended to reduce fever and pain in influenza, colds and other infectious diseases. The drug is also suitable for pain of various origins, e.g. headaches, toothaches, painful menstruation, sore throats and musculoskeletal pain of non-inflammatory origin. More at adc.sk

Dosage and dosage schedules

Adults and adolescents (older than 15 years) with a body weight of more than 50 kg:
Administer 1-2 tablets as needed at intervals of at least 4 hours up to a maximum daily dose of 8 tablets. The highest single dose is 2 tablets. During long-term treatment (over 10 days), the daily dose should not exceed 5 tablets.

Children and adolescents aged 6 -15 years:
It is administered 1/2 tablet to 1 tablet as a single dose. Individual doses are administered at least 6 hours apart. The interval may be shortened to 4 hours as needed, not to exceed the maximum total daily dose.
In children with body weight, the maximum total daily dose is 3 tablets (1.5 g of paracetamol).
For children with a body weight of 26-40 kg, the maximum total daily dose is 4 tablets (2 g of paracetamol).
For children with a body weight of 40-50 kg, the maximum total daily dose is 6 tablets (3 g of paracetamol).

Patients with renal impairment:
Dosage should be adjusted: at a glomerular filtration rate of 50-10 ml/min, 500 mg (1 tablet) can be given every 6 hours, at a glomerular filtration rate below 10 ml/min every 8 hours.

Patients with impaired liver function:
In these patients, on the advice of the physician, do not administer the maximum doses and observe an interval between doses of at least 6 hours.

Duration of treatment:
Do not take the tablets continuously for more than 1 week without your doctor's approval. Do not give tablets to a child without consulting a doctor for more than 3 days

Method of use

The tablets, which can be both divided and crushed, are taken with or just before meals, washed down with plenty of liquid. It is necessary to observe the intervals between doses indicated above.
The tablet can be divided into 2 equal doses.

Notice

If clinically necessary, paracetamol may be given during pregnancy, but the minimum effective dose should be used for the shortest possible duration and with the lowest possible frequency.
In breastfeeding women, with short-term treatment and careful monitoring of the infant at the same time, it is not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding.
In children younger than 6 years of age and/or in children with a body weight of less than 20 kg, the drug is contraindicated.
Do not take other medicines containing paracetamol at the same time.
The drug must not be taken by patients with severe hepatic insufficiency and/or acute hepatitis.
Do not drink alcohol.
