The drug contains the drug diclofenac, which belongs to a group of drugs referred to as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The drug is used for pain relief, which also relieves the manifestations of inflammation (swelling) and reduces fever.

The drug brings relief from:

• muscle pain, joint pain, back pain, headaches, toothaches, menstrual pain;
• cold and flu symptoms (including sore and scratchy throat and other accompanying aches and pains) and reduces fever.

Dosage and dosage schedules

Adults and adolescents aged 14 and over:
1 softgel after the onset of symptoms, then another softgel may follow at a minimum interval of 4-6 hours as needed. No more than 3 softgels (75 mg) should be taken in a 24-hour period.

Elderly patients: the lowest effective dose is recommended, especially for elderly patients in poor health or of low body weight.

The drug is intended for short-term use, i.e. up to 5 days to relieve pain and up to 3 days to reduce fever, without consulting a doctor.

Method of use

The capsules should always be swallowed whole and washed down with a glass of water. Capsules should be taken with or after meals. It is necessary to observe a minimum interval between two doses.

Notice

In the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, the drug is contraindicated. During the 1st and 2nd trimesters of pregnancy, the drug should not be given unless necessary (the dose should be as low as possible and the duration of treatment as short as possible).
In the period of breastfeeding, the drug should not be administered.
The drug may cause a decrease in female fertility (the impairment is reversible and goes away after treatment is stopped), so it is not recommended to give it to women who are trying to conceive.
Children under 14 years of age are not recommended to be given the drug.
The drug is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment. Caution is advised in patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment.
The drug is contraindicated in active gastric or intestinal ulcer, bleeding or perforation.
The drug is contraindicated in patients with attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis that have arisen from the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
Patients with significant risk factors for cardiovascular events (e.g. hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes mellitus, smoking) may take the drug only after careful consideration (the duration of treatment should be as short as possible and the dose as low as possible).
The drug can mask the symptoms and manifestations of infection.
Patients who experience dizziness while taking the drug should not drive or operate machinery.
Very rarely, photosensitivity (<1/10,000) may occur during treatment.
The drug contains sorbitol.
