The drug is a bronchosecretolytic (the drug loosens mucus in respiratory diseases with the formation of thick mucus).

It is used in adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age for the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs, an accompanying feature of which is impaired mucus production and its transport. More at adc.sk

Dosage and dosage schedules

Adults and adolescents over 14 years
The recommended dose is 15-30 drops 3 times a day (daily dose of 24-48 mg of bromhexinium chloride).

Children from 6 to 14 years and patients with body weight up to 50 kg
The recommended dose is 15 drops 3 times a day (daily dose of 24 mg of bromhexinium chloride).

Children from 2 to 6 years
The recommended dose is 8 drops 3 times a day (daily dose of 12 mg of bromhexinium chloride).

The duration of treatment is determined individually according to the indication and the course of the disease.
Without a doctor's recommendation, the drug should not be taken for more than 4 to 5 days.

Method of use

The drops are taken orally (by mouth) and with plenty of fluids, independently of food.

Notice

Pregnant women may take the drug during pregnancy only after a strict benefit/risk assessment.
Breastfeeding women must not take the medicine.
The drug is contraindicated for infants and children under 2 years of age.
In patients with renal or hepatic impairment, increased caution is needed when taking the drug and therefore it is advisable to administer the drug at longer intervals or at a reduced dose.
It contains levomenthol and mint flavouring, therefore it must not be administered to patients with bronchial asthma or other respiratory system diseases causing significant respiratory hypersensitivity.
After first opening, consume within 6 months.
