Description: Nurofen for children oral suspension 100ml
Indications: Nurofen for children contains the drug ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (non-steroidal antirheumatic drugs). It prevents the formation of substances responsible for the development of pain and inflammation. Its action reduces temperature, relieves inflammation of various origins and reduces mild to moderate pain.
Contraindications: do not give the drug Nurofen for children to a child:
- if he or she is hypersensitive (allergic) to the drug or to any other ingredient in the medicine; or if the child has a history of allergic reactions after taking ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (medicines for pain, fever, and inflammation), manifested as asthma, rhinitis, or hives;
- if the child has a current or past history of stomach or duodenal ulcers or other serious digestive disease;
- if the child is already taking other medicines for pain, fever and inflammation;
- if she has serious heart, liver or kidney disease.
- Do not give the medicine to children under 3 months of age.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Women in the first six months of pregnancy should not take the drug without a doctor's approval. In the last third of pregnancy, the drug should not be taken at all. Breastfeeding women should not take the medicine without a doctor's approval.

Dosage for post-vaccination fever: In case of post-vaccination fever, 2.5 ml of the suspension can be administered. If the fever does not subside, the dose of 2.5 ml can be repeated after 6 hours. Do not administer more than 2 times 2.5 mL of the suspension in 24 hours.
