Indications: Paralen suspension relieves pain and reduces fever. Paralen sus is given to children from infancy to reduce fever in influenza and other febrile illnesses, and for pain of various origins, such as headache, toothache and musculoskeletal pain.

Contraindications: Paralen suspension should not be given to children with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the components of the drug, with severe kidney and liver disease, with acute jaundice. The drug should not be administered to children younger than 3 months or with a body weight of less than 5 kg.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine. The drug is intended for children, therefore, the data are not given.

Dosage: Paralen suspension is dosed according to the weight of the child. A single dose is administered as needed at 6 hour intervals, up to a maximum of 4 times in 24 hours. The suspension should be washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.

Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use. The suspension must be consumed within 6 months after opening.

Do not administer with other paracetamol-containing medicines. There is a risk of serious liver damage with paracetamol overdose.

Note: Store in a dark and dry place at a temperature below 25°C, out of sight and reach of children! Follow the recommended dosage and therapeutic regimen.
