Characteristic: Calcium syrup is recommended to cover the increased need for calcium, especially during the growth period in children. Generica's calcium syrup has a pleasant vanilla flavour and can be taken with meals or on an empty stomach. The syrup is suitable for adults, adolescents, children from birth, pregnant and lactating women.

Calcium is present in the form of citrate, which:

• is an organic salt with a high calcium content compared to other organic calcium salts,
• has a neutral taste,
• is present in an organic micronized form, which improves the solubility and bioavailability of the active substance,
• it is absorbed equally effectively from a full and empty stomach (it can be taken with food and on its own).

Calcium:

• plays a role in the process of cell division and specialization,
• is needed to maintain healthy bones and teeth,
• also contributes to the normal functioning of muscles,
• to the proper functioning of digestive enzymes,
• for proper metabolism important for energy production,
• to normal blood clotting,
• to proper neurotransmission (transmission of nerve impulses).

Do not use: If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, as a substitute for a varied diet, the use of syrup in children under 1 year should be consulted with a doctor.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: the product is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Dosage: the use of Generica Calcium Syrup in the first year of life should be consulted with a pediatrician. The recommended dosage should take into account the daily dietary intake of calcium. Unless your doctor recommends otherwise so:

children under 1 year are usually given: 2.5 ml of syrup 1 time a day

1- 6 years - 5 ml of syrup 1 time a day

6 -15 years - 10 ml of syrup 1 time a day.

Adults - 15 ml of syrup 2 times a day.

It can be given alone or as an admixture with infant formula, tea, fruit juice. When feeding infant formula, the calcium content of the infant formula should also be taken into account so as not to exceed the permitted daily calcium intake.
