Description: Espumisan treatment for bloating and flatulence
The drug contains the drug simethicone, which has antifoaming properties and is used in gastrointestinal disorders.
The drug is used:
- to treat symptoms of gastrointestinal upset related to the accumulation of gas in the digestive tract, such as flatulence (flatulence) or bloating and a feeling of fullness,
- as preparation for diagnostic tests in the abdomen, such as X-rays and sonography (ultrasound).
Method of use
Dosage and dosage schedules
In GIT discomfort (flatulence):
Children from 6 and adults: 2 capsules (80 mg) 3 - 4 times a day. The length of treatment is conditioned by the development of the difficulty. If necessary, the drug can also be taken for a long time.
Preparation for X-ray and sonography of the abdomen:
1 day before the examination: 2 capsules 3 times a day
in the morning before the examination: 2 capsules
Method of use
The medicine is taken whole with or after meals, even at bedtime if necessary.
Notice
The drug can be taken during pregnancy and lactation.
Not intended for children under 6 years of age - a more suitable dosage form (drops) is indicated for them
The drug can also be taken after surgery.
The drug has no or negligible effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery.
The drug contains orange yellow FCF (E 110) and methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), which may cause allergic reactions.
