Why does Wobenzym help with so many diseases?

Wobenzym is a medicinal preparation that contains a combination of enzymes from natural sources. Enzymes are so-called biological catalysts, organic compounds that enable the optimal progress of most reactions in living organisms. There are several thousand kinds of enzymes, and each of them is a dedicated specialist. That is, they act in a certain way only on a certain substance. Only certain enzymes can be used for treatment.

The enzymes that Wobenzym contains positively influence the inflammatory response. They accelerate the absorption of swellings, blood bruises and sprains. They can thus shorten the healing time, thus promoting optimal healing. Wobenzym can therefore also help where a patient suffers from multiple inflammations simultaneously and can therefore be used to treat a wide range of conditions that are caused or accompanied by inflammation.

Natural enzymes against inflammation, swelling and immune disorders

So-called proteolytic enzymes are of particular importance in our body in managing inflammation. They help us to ensure the balance of the immune system so that inflammation passes quickly and without consequences. However, if we have weakened immunity or are threatened by severe inflammation, it is advisable to support our defence system by administering similar enzymes externally. This is dealt with in the special field of medicine systemic enzymotherapy. Years of research have verified the efficacy of the unique blend of proteolytic enzymes contained in the traditional systemic enzyme therapy drug Wobenzym.

    1. What is Wobenzym and what is it used for

Wobenzym contains appropriately formulated enzymes (protein-breaking substances) that have the ability to effectively influence immunity, reduce inflammation and swelling, and to some extent dissolve blood clots. They accelerate the course of inflammation and alleviate its consequences, suppress the manifestations of the disease caused by harmful immunocomplexes arising as a result of antibody reactions. To the human body, harmful metabolic products and dead tissue material are more quickly degraded. Swellings and blood sprains are better absorbed. Rutin normalizes the permeability of the vascular wall. Wobenzyme reduces blood viscosity and thus improves blood circulation in the finest blood vessels. Tablets are resistant to gastric juice.

Wobenzym is recommended in adults for the following conditions:

    - post-traumatic swelling.

    - inflammatory and postoperative conditions in surgery.

    - lymphoedema (swelling caused by impaired lymph drainage) of various aetiologies.

    - fibrocystic mastopathy (a chronic breast disease characterised by the formation of cavities and fibrous tissue).

    - post-thrombotic syndrome of the lower limbs (conditions after blockage of the veins of the lower limbs by a blood clot), inflammation of the superficial veins.

    - some diseases caused by immunocomplexes (chronic inflammation of joints, muscles, tendons and soft tissues, multiple cerebrospinal sclerosis, inflammation of blood vessels).

    - advanced stages of arthrosis (a long-standing, non-inflammatory joint disease that limits joint movement and causes pain)

    - chronic and recurrent inflammation (in the nose, ears and throat, upper and lower respiratory tract, urinary and genital tract, joints and others).

    - as a supportive therapy in the administration of antibiotics.

    2. What you need to know before taking Wobenzym

    Do not take Wobenzym

    - if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine Wobenzym.

    - if you are allergic to fruits such as pineapple or papaya.

    - if you have congenital or acquired coagulation disorders such as haemophilia (congenital bleeding disorder) or thrombocytopenia (a morbid reduction in the number of platelets).

    Warnings and precautions

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Wobenzym.

This drug does not replace antibiotic treatment for infectious inflammation, but increases their effectiveness. A doctor should be consulted before taking Wobenzym for chronic diseases and when taking it for more than two months.

Occasionally, in chronic diseases, there may be a worsening of symptoms at the beginning of treatment with Wobenzym, which, according to previous experience, is in the vast majority of cases considered to be a manifestation of a positive response of the organism to the treatment. In this case, the drug should not be discontinued, but consideration should be given to possibly temporarily reducing the current dosage. In such circumstances, it is advisable to consult a physician, as well as in the event of the occurrence of side effects or other unusual reactions.

Taking Wobenzyme is not recommended for patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Wobenzym should be discontinued 4 days before dental or any other surgical procedure.

    Other medicines and Wobenzym

Adverse interactions of Wobenzyme with other concomitantly administered medications are unknown.

In inflammatory diseases, Wobenzym does not replace antibiotic treatment, but enhances its effect, so it is recommended to consult the attending physician and combine it appropriately with antibiotics.

If you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) and/or antiplatelet drugs (blood thinners), talk to your doctor.

If you are now taking or have recently taken any other medicines, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

    Wobenzym and food and drink

It is recommended to take the tablets at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with plenty of water (approximately 250 ml).

The gastro-resistant tablet should not be chewed, split or crushed as the coating of the tablet prevents the enzymes in the intestine from degrading.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
