Hot drink with lemon flavour contains:
- paracetamol, a painkiller and fever reducer that relieves sore throats, headaches, muscle and joint pain and reduces fever,
- phenylephrine, which relieves stuffy nose and sinuses, making breathing easier,
- vitamin C, which is a common ingredient in flu medicines.
Dosage and dosage schedules
Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents from 15 years of age, with a body weight over 65 kg:
Administer 1 sachet as needed 1-4 times daily 4-6 hours apart. The interval between doses should not be less than 4 hours. The highest single dose is 1 bag. The maximum daily dose is 4 bags.
Patients with reduced renal function:
It is recommended to extend the interval between doses. For moderate renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance 10-50 ml/min), the minimum interval between 2 doses is 6 hours, for severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance < 10 ml/min), the minimum interval between 2 doses is 8 hours.
Duration of treatment:
The drug is intended only for short-term treatment. If there is no improvement in symptoms (fever, pain) within 3 days, or if, on the contrary, the symptoms worsen, new symptoms or unusual reactions occur, it is necessary to consult a doctor for further treatment. This medicine should not be taken without consulting a doctor for more than 7 days.
Method of use
The contents of 1 bag are poured into a cup and poured over hot water. It mixes well. If necessary, add cold water, honey or sugar to taste. The hot drink is drunk. The relationship to food is not mentioned.
Notice
Taking this medication during pregnancy is not recommended.
Due to the lack of data, it is better to avoid administration of the drug during breastfeeding.
Due to the content of drugs, the drug is not suitable for children and adolescents under 15 years of age.
The drug is intended for people with a body weight over 65 kg.
The drug should not be taken by patients with high blood pressure or with heart or blood vessel disease.
The drug must not be taken by patients with severe hepatic insufficiency and/or acute hepatitis.
Do not take other medicines for flu and colds or medicines to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa (decongestants) and especially other medicines containing paracetamol at the same time as this medicine.
In the event of the appearance of dizziness, the patient should not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.
Do not drink alcohol.
The drug contains sucrose (3725 mg in 1 sachet).
Each sachet contains 116 mg of sodium, which should be considered in patients with reduced renal function or on a sodium-controlled diet.
