How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Lightweight barefoot shoes from the Slovak manufacturer - Protetika. These shoes have a flexible and soft sole that also respects the foot with a dominant big toe or flipper. The sole is grey in colour and is slightly raised all around. The upper is made of grey nubuck leather. The stitching corresponds to the colour of the leather. The interior is lined with white leather. The insole is made of the same leather. It is removable and flat. Fastening is with two Velcro fasteners. Three silver coloured hearts are sewn on one buckle.
