How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Barefoot shoes from Protetika. The sole of these shoes is soft, flexible and bendable in all directions. It no longer has the typical tree pattern, but the elevation around the perimeter of the shoe remains. The sole has a shape that also respects the dominant toe. The upper is made of dark blue nubuck leather. There is orange leather on the tongue and at the back of the shoes, which contrasts with the blue leather. A thin strip of this leather is also on one side of the shoes. There is white leather around the ankle, which is also in the form of a strap on the side of the shoes. The stitching on the buckles is orange thread, on the rest of the shoes is blue. The inside is made of white leather. The insole is removable and flat. The shoes are also suitable for narrower ankles. Thanks to two Velcro fastenings, they fit both higher and lower foreheads.
