How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Orthopaedic slippers from the Slovak company Protetika. The ridged rubber sole, corklatex moulding and anatomically shaped insole made of natural leather are typical features of these shoes, which have been on the market for a long time. As the insole is anatomically shaped, it has a toe and heel bed as well as a longitudinal and transverse arch. The sole is firm, has very little flex and is dark blue in colour. Fastening is with buckles. The buckles are metal and are located on the smooth leather. The leather has a denim-blue colour. The stitching is beige. Underneath the leather is a thin beige fabric.
