Description: MUCOSOLVAN Junior syrup 100 ml
Ambroxolium chloride, the active ingredient of this drug, increases the secretion of mucus from the respiratory tract, facilitates its expectoration and relieves coughing.
The drug is intended for secretory (facilitating expectoration) therapy in acute and chronic bronchial diseases accompanied by impaired formation of bronchial mucus and its difficult transport and excretion.
Dosage and dosage schedules
Children from 6 to 12 years: 5 ml 2-3 times a day
Children from 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml 3 times a day
Children up to 2 years: 2.5 ml 2 times a day
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml 3 times a day
In case the patient forgets to take a dose of the medicine, he should take it as soon as he remembers. Do not take a double dose.
The drug is to be discontinued after symptoms have subsided. If the symptoms of the disease do not improve or if they worsen, it is necessary to contact a doctor.
Method of use
The drug can be taken with or without food.
The bottle has a safety cap that prevents children from opening it. The syrup is opened by pushing the cap down firmly and unscrewing it counterclockwise. After the syrup is administered, the bottle should be closed again.
Notice
The drug is not recommended in pregnancy, especially during the first 3 months.
Taking the drug is not recommended for nursing mothers.
In case of impaired kidney function or severe hepatopathy, the drug can be taken only after consulting a doctor.
