Indications: Calgel is a dental gel containing the local anaesthetic lidocaine hydrochloride and the antiseptic cetylpyridinium chloride.Calgel is a medicine designed to relieve pain and soothe a child's sore gums when teething .
Contraindications: if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, as a substitute for a varied diet, children under 18 years of age unless otherwise stated.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Method of use: calgel is intended for children from five months.Squeeze a small amount of gel, approximately 7.5 mm (0.22 g), onto a clean fingertip and gently rub into the gum at the site of tooth growth.If necessary, repeat after 2 hours at the earliest, up to a maximum of six times a day.
Ingredients: the active ingredients are:lidocaini hydrochlorium monohydricum (lidocainium hydrochloride monohydrate) 3.3 mg; cetylpyridinii chloridum monohydricum (cetylpyridinium chloride monohydrate) 1.0 mg in 1 g of gel.
Other ingredients are: crystallising sorbitol 70%, xylitol, ethanol 96%, glycerol, hypellose, hydrogen ricinomacrogol 2000, lauromacrogol 450, macrogol 300, saccharin sodium, levomenthol, herbal flavour, caramel, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.
