Ibolex 200 mg 20 film-coated tablets

  • the next generation painkiller
  • 1 film-coated tablet contains 200 mg of dexibuprofen
  • for adults aged 18 and over

When to take Ibolex

  • Ibolex belongs to the so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that reduce pain and inflammation.
  • It contains dexibuprofen in a crystalline pure form, which makes it less burdensome for the body compared to classic ibuprofen. It relieves pain at a dose of 200 mg, within 30 minutes.
  • It is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate acute pain, such as
    • musculoskeletal pain (joint, muscle, tendon and bone pain)- e.g. back pain,
    • headache,
    • toothache, pain after tooth extraction (extraction),
    • menstrual pain,
    • pain associated with flu and colds (e.g. pain in the limbs and headache),
    • reduces fever.

How to take Ibolex

→Dosing:

  • Adults take 1 tablet as needed every 6 to 8 hours.
  • A time interval of at least 6 hours should be observed between doses.
  • The maximum daily dose without consulting a doctor is 3 tablets.

The drug is intended for short-term treatment.

If your condition does not improve (within 4 days in the case of pain and within 3 days in the case of fever) or worsens, you need to see a doctor.

Patients with impaired liver or kidney function should consult a physician when taking the drug.

→Method of use:

  • The tablets can be taken with or without food and should be washed down with a glass of water.
  • Ibolex works faster when taken without food, however, the combination with food relieves irritation of the digestive tract, especially with long-term use.
  • If a dose reduction is needed, the tablets can be divided into two equal doses thanks to the dividing groove.
  • Exclude alcohol consumption while taking Ibolex.

→Warning

  • Ibolex should not be taken during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
  • It should not be given during the 1st and 2nd trimesters of pregnancy unless clearly necessary (and only after consultation with a physician).
  • Breastfeeding while taking Ibolex is possible with low doses and short-term treatment.
  • The drug should not be taken by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
  • The drug is contraindicated in patients with severe liver, kidney and heart disease, in patients with peptic ulcer and a history of GIT bleeding.
  • Other NSAID-type medications or medications with acetysalicylic acid used for pain relief should not be taken concurrently with dexibuprofen, it may increase the risk of ulcers and bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Bronchospasm may occur in patients with a history or current bronchial asthma or allergic diseases.

Further specific warnings are given in the PIL (Part 2).

Read the written information for the user carefully before taking the medicine.

The drug contains the drug dexibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAID-type drugs are used to control pain and inflammation. They work by reducing the amount of prostaglandins (substances that affect inflammation and pain) that the body makes.

The drug is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate acute pain of various origins in adults, such as:

  • musculoskeletal pain (pain in muscles, joints, tendons and bones), e.g. back pain,
  • pain of dental origin, pain after tooth extraction,
  • menstrual pain,
  • headache,
  • cold and flu pain (e.g. head and limb pain).
