How to correctly measure the length of the footwear?
Correctly measuring both feet is the first important step to choosing the right shoes!
The following method is the most suitable for measuring foot length:
- place a piece of paper on the floor close to a wall or some steps, and tape it down
- place your foot on the paper with the heel touching the wall
- your toes must always be straight and you should put your weight on the measured foot
- mark the place where the longest toe ends on the paper
- then measure the length of the foot with a ruler
Always measure both feet as one may be longer than the other!

Summer boots from the Slovak manufacturer Protetika, which have a solid heel and covered toes, but thanks to the many holes they are also suitable for warm summer weather. The shoes are lightweight, have a smooth sole that is flexible in all directions. The cut of the shoes is barefoot. The sole is blue and extends to the front and back of the trench. The upper of the shoes is made of sanded leather, which has a dark grey colour. The buckle that is around the ankle is made of blue sanded leather. The stitching is also in blue thread. At the end of the buckles there is a piece of blue leather type leather. The inside is also leather and the leather is white in colour. The insole is flat, removable and leather. Fastening is with two Velcro fasteners.
