The drug contains:

• paracetamol, a painkiller and fever reducer, which relieves sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain and reduces fever. In the drug is contained in the maximum dose,
• phenylephrine, which relieves stuffy nose and sinuses, making breathing easier,
• vitamin C, which is a common ingredient in flu medicines.

It is used to relieve unpleasant symptoms of flu, severe colds and other febrile illnesses accompanied by stuffy nose or blocked sinuses in adults with a body weight over 65 kg. The drug relieves headache, sore throat, muscle and joint pain, relieves stuffy nose and sinuses and reduces fever. More at adc.sk

Dosage and dosage schedules

Adults (including the elderly) with a body weight over 65 kg:
Administer 1 sachet as needed 1-4 times daily 4-6 hours apart. The interval between doses should not be less than 4 hours. The maximum single dose is 1 bag, the maximum daily dose is 4 bags.

Patients with reduced renal function:
In case of moderate renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance 10-50 ml/min) it is recommended to extend the interval between 2 doses to 6 hours, in case of severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance < 10 ml/min) to 8 hours.

Duration of treatment:
The drug is intended only for short-term treatment. If there is no improvement in symptoms (fever, pain) within 2-3 days or if, on the contrary, the symptoms worsen, new symptoms or unusual reactions occur, it is necessary to consult a doctor for further treatment. Do not take without consulting a doctor for more than 7 days.

Method of use

The contents of 1 bag are poured into a cup and poured over hot water. Stir well until the powder dissolves. If necessary, cold water, honey or sugar is added to taste and the drink is drunk. The drug is taken independently of food, but taking it after a meal can lead to a decrease in the effect of paracetamol.

Notice

Taking this medication during pregnancy is not recommended.
In breastfeeding women, the drug is not recommended (if it is necessary for a breastfeeding woman to take the drug, she should take it only after consulting a doctor, only for a short period of time, and breastfeed for at least 3 hours after taking the drug).
The drug is contraindicated for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
In persons with a body weight of 65 kg and less, the drug should not be used.
The drug should not be taken by patients with high blood pressure or with heart or blood vessel disease.
The drug must not be taken by patients with severe hepatic insufficiency and/or acute hepatitis.
Do not take other medicines for flu and colds or medicines to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa (decongestants) and especially other medicines containing paracetamol at the same time as this medicine.
The drug may cause dizziness in some patients. If they occur, the patient must not drive or operate machinery.
Do not drink alcohol.
The drug contains sucrose (5 g in 1 sachet).
Each sachet contains 118 mg of sodium, which should be considered in patients with reduced renal function or those on a sodium-controlled diet.
