The drug contains the drug acetylcysteine and liquefies viscous (thick) mucus in the airways. It is used to loosen mucus and facilitate coughing in case of respiratory diseases with viscous mucus. More at adc.sk

Dosage and dosage schedules

Adults: 1 sachet 1x per day
Duration of treatment: should not take more than 14 days without consulting a doctor.

Elderly and debilitated patients
Patients with a reduced expectorant reflex (elderly and debilitated patients) should prefer to take the oral powder in the morning.

Method of use

The contents of 1 sachet should be poured directly onto the tongue. The oral powder stimulates salivation so it can be easily swallowed. The oral powder must not be chewed before swallowing. It can be taken without water.

Notice

The drug may be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding after careful consideration of the benefit-risk ratio.
The drug is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
This medicine is not suitable for use in children and adolescents because of the high content of the active substance.
Coadministration of acetylcysteine with some antibiotics (some cephalosporins, penicillins, aminoglycosides, tetracyclines (except doxycycline)) may reduce the effectiveness of antibiotics.
Bronchospasm may occur in patients with bronchial asthma.
Caution is required in patients with histamine intolerance.
The drug may affect the result of laboratory tests (determination of salicylates and ketone bodies in the urine).
The drug contains sorbitol, xylitol, aspartame.
