Description: AMBROBENE 15 mg/5 ml syrup 1x100 ml/300 mg
The drug is an expectorant (expectorant) with mucolytic effect, i.e. it loosens, liquefies mucus in the airways, induces increased mucus production and at the same time dilutes it, promotes the movement of cilia and thus cleanses the mucous membrane of the airways.
The drug is taken:
- in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with difficult expectoration,
- in infectious diseases of the respiratory tract.

Dosage and dosage schedules
Children 2 - 5 years
2.5 ml syrup 3 times a day
Children 6 - 12 years
5 ml syrup 2-3 times a day
Adults and children over 12 years
During the first 2-3 days, 10 ml of syrup is administered 3 times a day, then 10 ml of syrup 2 times a day
Method of use
The drug is taken after a meal and washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid, which significantly contributes to its effect. Care must be taken to ensure accurate dosage when using the measuring cup included in the package.
Notice
The drug is not recommended to take during pregnancy, especially in the 1st trimester.
The drug is not recommended to be taken while breastfeeding.
The drug is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
The drug contains sorbitol.
The drug contains carbohydrates.
The drug contains propylene glycol.
