Description: PANCREOLAN FORTE

The drug contains digestive enzymes, does not eliminate the causes of the disease, but restores digestion (eliminates the urge to gag, the feeling of fullness, bloating, flatulence, diarrhea and fat in the stool).

The drug is taken for digestive disorders due to insufficient or absent function of the digestive enzymes of the pancreas, for inflammatory and other diseases of the pancreas, and for difficulties after surgery in the gastrointestinal tract.

Method of use

Dosage and dosage schedules

The dosage is individual, according to the severity of the disease.

Exocrine secretory insufficiency of the pancreas
It is recommended to take 2 tablets after a smaller meal and 3-4 tablets after a larger meal. With insufficient effect (diarrhea, steatorrhea), the dose can be further increased.

Treatment of acute alimentary dyspepsia (acute dyspepsia "after a dietary error")
It is recommended to take 2 tablets after a smaller meal and 3-4 tablets after a larger meal, either as a single dose or for a short-term period of 1-3 days.

Children from 3 years and under 18 years
Children should only ever take this medicine on the advice of a doctor. It is recommended to take 1 tablet 3 times a day if your doctor allows it.

If the patient does not feel better within 3 days or if he feels worse, he must contact the doctor.
The drug can be taken for a long time only on the recommendation of a doctor.

Method of use

The tablets are taken shortly after each meal, swallowed whole, not chewed, and washed down with plenty of liquid. Tablets should not be chewed or crushed as this may lead to irritation of the oral mucosa and/or reduce the effect.

The daily dose should be evenly distributed over the full 24 hours.

Notice

The drug should not be used in pregnancy and during breastfeeding (safety studies have not been conducted).
The drug is not intended for children under 3 years of age.
The drug contains purines, so caution is necessary in patients with gout. Caution is also necessary in patients with renal insufficiency and hyperuricemia.
With inflammation of the pancreas, it is forbidden to drink alcoholic beverages and it is necessary to follow a diet with a minimum fat content.
The drug may reduce the absorption of folic acid and iron.
The drug contains lactose and sucrose.
