Indications:Candibene® dermal cream is indicated for the treatment of fungal skin diseases (tinea mycosis), such as. it is used in the treatment of pityriasis versicolor, dermatophytosis, candidiasis, candidiasis of the external genitalia (balanitis and vulvitis), keratomycosis (fungal disease of the cornea), interdigital mycoses (interdigital mycoses), fungal diseases of the nail bed (paronychia) and erythrasma (a skin disease manifested by sharply demarcated brownish-red patches with a scaly, scabby surface, mainly localised on the inner surfaces of the thighs) .

Contraindications: Do not use Candibene® if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to clotrimazole or to any of the other ingredients contained in the cream base of Candibene®.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding will be assessed by a doctor.

Use: Unless otherwise directed by a doctor, the cream is most often applied 2-3 times a day in a thin layer on the affected areas. Affected areas should be washed and dried before use.

Duration of use: the usual duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks, pityriasis versicolor is usually cured after 1-3 weeks of application, for inflammations in the genital area 1-2 weeks. In order to achieve a complete cure, the drug should not be stopped as soon as the symptoms of the disease disappear. For mycosis fungoides of the skin of the legs (feet), treatment should be continued for two weeks after the symptoms have disappeared to prevent recurrence (return of the disease). If symptoms persist, consult a doctor for further action. Do not use in children under 2 years of age without a doctor's approval. If you are unsure about something, check with your doctor or pharmacist. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
