The medicine contains the drug butamirathium dihydrogen citrate, which belongs to a group of drugs called antitussives (cough suppressants). The syrup is used for the symptomatic treatment of coughs of various origins. More at adc.sk
Dosage and dosage schedules
Children aged 3-6 years: 5 ml 3 times a day.
Children aged 6-12 years: 10 ml 3 times a day.
Adolescents older than 12 years: 15 ml 3 times a day.
Adults: 15 ml 4 times a day.
The maximum duration of treatment without consulting a doctor is 1 week.
Method of use
The medicine is taken by mouth (orally). A measuring cup is included to measure the dose. The drug should be taken before meals.
Notice
The drug should not be taken during the 1st trimester of pregnancy.
The drug can be taken in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy only in unavoidable cases.
The drug may be taken during breastfeeding only after careful consideration of the benefit of treatment and the potential risk to the baby.
The drug is not intended for children under 3 years of age.
The drug has a negligible effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery due to the occurrence of drowsiness.
The drug contains sorbitol, ethanol.
