The drug is a vaginal solution containing the drug benzydaminium chloride, which when applied topically has a pronounced effect against pain, inflammation and swelling. The drug is intended for vaginal rinses and rinses of the external genital organs for inflammation of the female genital organs and for routine female hygiene.
The drug is used:
- for the treatment of inflammatory manifestations of the vagina, cervix and external female genital organs, including those occurring after treatment with cytostatics and after radiation,
- before and after gynaecological surgery.
Dosage and dosage schedules
The recommended dosage is 1-2 times a day.
Treatment of bacterial vaginosis caused by Gardnerella vaginalis: 2 vaginal rinses daily for 7 consecutive days are recommended unless otherwise advised by a physician.
Routine hygiene: irregularly, as needed.
Method of use
The drug is intended for topical use with the applicator included in the inner packaging. The solution should be used at room temperature. If the patient wants to use the solution lukewarm, it is enough to immerse the PVC packaging of the drug for a few minutes in warm water. When opening the PVC packaging, the knurled cap is held firmly and the lid is turned to break the safety cap. The applicator is pulled out until a pop is heard. Caution, the solution will start to flow only after the applicator is fully pulled out. The applicator is gently inserted into the vagina and then the PVC wrapper is squeezed until the contents are emptied. Emptying can be gradual and regulated as required, as the built-in flap prevents backflow of the solution into the PVC container. If possible, the entire contents of the container should be used for rinsing. To achieve the maximum therapeutic effect, the solution should be retained in the vagina for several minutes. In other cases, the instructions of the attending physician should be followed.
Notice
It is recommended to prescribe the drug during pregnancy and lactation only in indicated cases.
The drug can be used for vaginal rinses and rinses of the external genital organs in girls over 15 years of age. For rinsing the external genital organs, the drug can be used in children from 6 years of age.
Prolonged use may lead to sensitization. Treatment should be discontinued in such a case.
When the infectious cause of the disease is proven, it is necessary to administer the drug together with specific local or even general treatment.
