The drug suppresses cough irritation, changes the composition of bronchial mucus and facilitates its expectoration. The drug is indicated for the treatment of dry, irritating, difficult to soothe cough of various origins. On the doctor's advice, the medicine can also be given to soothe a cough before and after surgery. More at adc.sk

Dosage and dosage schedules

The drug is indicated for adults and children from 6 months. The dose is determined according to the patient's body weight:
up to 12 kg: 1.25 ml 3-4 times a day.
12-20 kg: administered 2.5 ml 3 times a day.
20-40 kg: 2.5 ml 3-4 times a day.
40-70 kg: 5 ml 3 times a day.
70-90 kg: 5 ml 4 times a day.
over 90 kg: 7.5 ml 3-4 times a day.

The interval between doses should be at least 4-6 hours.
Without consulting a doctor, the drug should not be used for more than 7 days.

Method of use

The dose is measured using the provided measuring cup or dosing pipette and washed down with liquid (water, tea, fruit juice, etc.). The drug should be taken after meals.

Notice

The drug is contraindicated during the 1st trimester of pregnancy.
The drug can be taken in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy only in unavoidable cases.
The drug can be taken during breastfeeding only in unavoidable cases.
In children under 6 months, the drug is contraindicated.
Patients with a productive, persistent or chronic cough related to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema should not be treated with this medicine.
The drug has little or moderate effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Do not drink alcohol.
The drug contains maltitol and sorbitol.
After the 1st opening, the product should be stored at a temperature of up to 25°C for 4 weeks.
