Zincorot 50 tbl
Description: Zincorot 50 tbl
The drug is used as an alternative source for zinc supplementation in the treatment of zinc deficiency in cases where a normal diet cannot provide sufficient zinc intake. Zinc plays an important role in:
- immune system function
- skin integrity
- wound healing
- of taste and smell
- thyroid function
- growth and development of the body
- maturation of the testicles
- neurological function and the action of insulin (a hormone that controls energy and glucose (sugar) metabolism).
Zinc is necessary for proper brain development and functioning; its deficiency or excess is implicated in behavioural changes, abnormal development of the central nervous system and the development of neurological diseases.
